Your wellness journey can also be in work
We work with individuals and groups in work settings too.
We help nurture your body and mind, be your authentic selves and ultimately fulfil yours and your organisation's potential.
We have a range of skills in life coaching, organisational development, service redesign and neuro-inclusive practices. Work with us to create environments and cultures where you and your colleagues feel energised, able to focus and contribute authentically to your organisation's and your personal goals.

Our Story
I started Happy You because I felt that much of the wellness and fitness industry can feel quite daunting to enter into. There's loads of social expectations, prescriptive practices and goals to be met. Personally this felt so pressurised. I lost my way from just having fun, and celebrating who I am, rather than who I think I should be. My ethos in setting up Happy You is that using our collective lived experience, my extensive knowledge of health through years working for the NHS and being a Triathlete coach, personal trainer and nutriotionist, I wanted to try do something different. I wanted to be a home for others that don't feel they fit the mainstream wellness and fitness world for whatever reason.
At Happy You, we are dedicated to meeting individuals, families and organisations, wherever you are in your fitness and wellness journeys.
We provide comprehensive support, recognising that every client is unique, whether dealing with injuries, adapting to different life stages or new context they find themselves in.
Our focus on connection, nature, and community ensures that everyone can find their path to health and happiness. Ultimately outgrowing their ordinary and thriving.
For us the focus is on meeting you where you are in your movement and mind-body connection journeys. We use a somatic approach to movement, recognising its value in soothing your nervous systems and embracing how awesome your body and mind already are.

Meet Sarah
The most important part of working with you in groups or one-one is that you know and trust me. This section gives you a bit more about who I am and why I love my work.
I believe that lived experience is a really important part of how we connect and empathise with each other.
Lived Experience
I am neurodiverse. I have a mixture of ADHD, dyslexia and autistic traits. Like many I have also had periods of mental ill health from trauma and burn out.
These experiences have helped me to learn novel solutions to help me work with my mind and body. I try not forcing myself to conform to societal expectations but honor my unique and wonderful self, for who I am.
Movement and nutrition are at the centre of how I effectively process and function in this world.
I now seek to support others to hone and harness their own skills to be their unique and wonderful selves as well.
Mind-body Connection
Our minds and bodies are not machines but amazing living beings with souls. When we approach our bodies as machines, we lose the power of working with them and try and do things onto them. Society and culture has long supported this approach. So I will work with you to achieve your goals. I will ask you to focus on goals that come from within, rather than to meet external validation and expectations.

The juggle is real
I have many roles in my life. I'm a mother, a wife, a friend, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a personal trainer, a nutritionist, a triathlon coach, a life coach, an NHS worker, a mountain biker and a life long learner.
All these roles are really important to me. All of these roles take some of my time to nurture and ensure I do with authenticity and presence.
However, the role that is the scariest and takes the most work is being just me. This takes self-worth, self-compassion and self-love. I spend everyday working to ensure, I remember and honour me, as me.
This is at the heart of what I also want to help you achieve when you work with me, whichever role(s) I play in your life and for however long.
Why do I do this?
I believe everyone has the right to be loved, connected, have purpose and be happy. I want to use my knowledge and experience to enable others to gain and nurture this. I want to contribute to making the world a happier place to be.
I don't feel this should only bein one setting your life and so as well as working with individuals I love working organisations as well and show how work can nuture you too.
